Georgia ENA Award

Categories

 

Education Award:

This award is given to a member that has taken the time to help educate fellow emergency nurses. This member exhibits some or all of these criteria:

Educational expertise in emergency nursing in roles such as mentor, preceptor, resources, or instructor.

Develops educational programs/instructions for colleagues, nursing students, patients, families, or their community.

Demonstrates emergency nursing expertise through publications and or educational presentations

Actively participates in development or implementation of Emergency nursing courses (e.g. TNCC, ENPC, CEN review course...)

 

Leadership Award:

This award is given to a member that has served as a board member on a local, state, or national level.  This would include serving as a president, president-elect, immediate past president, secretary, treasurer, director or committee chair.  It is given to the member that has made significant contributions to ENA at the local, state, or national level.  This member exhibits some or all of these criteria:

Actively promotes ENA and works to advance their chapter.

Has worked to increase membership.

Has helped others succeed in their role as an ENA member.

 

Mentor Award:

This award is given to a member that has taken the time to encourage others to join ENA and to encourage their participation at a local, state and national level.  They have mentored members in leadership roles to enhance ENA and the members ENA experience.  This member exhibits some or all of these criteria:

Role models and shares knowledge of ENA’s mission and values.

Shows commitment to ENA by serving as a consultant/resource on ENA and emergency nursing issues.

Encourages professional development for emergency nursing and serves as a positive role model for the same (e.g. CEN, TNCC, ENPC attainment.)

Represents emergency nursing in a positive professional manner while serving as a consultant in ENA and emergency nursing activities.

 

Rising Star Award:

This award is given to a new ENA member who has made significant contributions to ENA. This member must have been an ENA member for less than 5 years as of October 4, 2008.  This member will have been involved in ENA on a local, state, or national level and has worked to enhance ENA.  This member exhibits some or all of these criteria:

In a short time has shown evidence of significant contributions to ENA.

Actively supports the mission and values of ENA and readily shares knowledge and expertise with others.
