Cathy has over 26 years of emergency nursing experience, working in adult and pediatric emergency facilities. She is currently employed in the Emergency Department of a STEMI and Stroke certified ED in Chesapeake, VA, as an ED Educator and Educational Consultant. Cathy has coordinated the CEN® Review course for Tidewater ENA since 1997 and maintains a very high passing rate for the CEN® Exam.Cathy has been a national speaker for over 17 years and her evaluations have been excellent: “The best review I’ve ever been to;” “I felt prepared to take the exam.”

Melissa has been an ER Nurse since 1990, teaching in the clinical setting since 1992 and on a nursing faculty since 2003. Her area of professional concentration is nursing education—both clinical continuing education and academia, along with clinical expertise in Trauma and Pediatric Emergency Nursing. She is the Clinical Practice and Education Specialist in a pediatric emergency facility and is on the faculty of an RN Associate Degree Program at a local school of nursing. She shares knowledge in a manner that is fun and stimulating, making it easy to receive and retrieve.
