Meet The Team

Jorge with his wife Elizabeth and two sons Nicolas and Wyatt moved from Carlisle, PA to Aiken in March 2021. Jorge loves to be outside in the garden, at the beach or volunteering for local charities around town. He was appointed to the board in 2022 and his term ends 2023.

Sharon worked in marketing and merchandising at Hanes Corp for 18 years before changing careers and working in health care for 20 years. She moved from North Carolina to Aiken in 2011. She is recently retired and enjoys spending her time gardening, reading, baking and walking with her dog Shelly in Hitchcock Woods. Sharon joined the board in November of 2021.

Rich has lived in Aiken for over 20 years, and has worked in the shipping and logistics industry for nearly as long. He spends the majority his free time with family and any remaining is spent renovating his home. He previously served the organization on several occasions including a term as vice president. Rich was most recently elected to the board at the spring 2023 general meeting.

Scott is a Florida Native who recently moved to Aiken to be closer to family and continue his 18 yr. career with Yellowstone Landscape in Augusta. Scott enjoys DIY projects and enhancing outdoor living spaces, whether it's building a deck or renovating an old landscape bed. He loves the beach, riding bikes and anything that involves being outside. Scott was elected at the spring 2023 general meeting he looks forward to working with the community and helping preserve and enhance our beautiful neighborhood.

Evelyn and her husband Lou moved to Aiken in 2021 from Carlisle Pennsylvania. Evelyn enjoys cross stitching and spending time with her two Miniature Pinschers Rick and Morty.  Evelyn was appointed Treasurer in 2022 her term ends in 2024.

A life long Aiken Estates resident, Bill's family built the house on Conger Dr in 1958. He purchased the home from his mother's estate in 2000. Bill worked in education for 46 years. He taught math, coached, was an athletic director and later became an assistant principal. He was the director of the SAT and ACT for 25 years. Bill joined the board in 2011 as treasurer. He served in that role until 2022 when he stepped down but continues to serve as a board member today. Bill  enjoys sporting events in person and on TV. He also enjoys working in his yard and woodworking in his shop.
